I am an avid technologist and people person.

Early in my career, I enjoyed being a hands-on network, security and cloud specialist but something was missing…the people side. I discovered that sharing my love of technology with those around me was my true passion, and it was then I realized that I wanted to lead technical teams and not just be a part of them.

I quickly found joy in technical leadership and the satisfaction coaching, mentoring and driving a team to achieve more than the sum of its parts. My journey has provided the opportunity to lead large engineering organizations and cross-functional teams, whilst continuing to extend my experience designing, deploying and architecting various network and security solutions and cloud transformations.

Working in the sales and consulting industry is exciting. I enjoy the challenge of a working towards a target, but having worked both on the customer and vendor side gives me what often feels like an unfair advantage – it is much easier to build credibility with your customer when you legitimately understand their challenges and genuinely wish to position solutions that solve real problems and create relevant business outcomes.

I frequently present at industry events and participate in media engagements and analyst activities. There’s no better way to remain relevant in this ever-changing technology landscape than to be an active participant in understanding where we are today and where we’ll be tomorrow.
